Within a circle, ‘al-sulṭān khān / al-ʿādil Sulaymān / khalada mulkuhū’ (‘The just sultan Sulayman Khan. May his kingdom be perpetuated’ in Arabic); date formula around of which only ‘iḥdā arbaʿīn’ (‘41’ in Arabic) is legible. Rev. Within an octofoil, ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh / Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic); the names of the four Rashidun Caliphs around.
